okay, what am i doing wrong, other than owning a pc ?!
here's the result of the file>properties: C:\Documents and
Settings\Dallas\My Documents\My Music\Soundtrack\The Best Little Whorehouse
In Texas\Various Artists.The Best
this doesn't seem right, so i must be doing something wrong; again.
okay, i did it again, other song, just to see & it still seems wrong - here
again is the file>properties result:"
C:\Documents and Settings\Dallas\My Documents\My Music\Little Texas\Big Time
Maybe it is hidden as the folder name could be very long. Right-click in the
value of Location (in your case '..Documents and Settings\Dallas\My
Documents\My Music\Little Texas\Big..'), click Select All, press ctrl+c and
then Paste the text in a notepad window to reveal the full location
thanks again but while a few show the .wma at the end, not all do; case in
point this one from above:"
C:\Documents and
Settings\Dallas\My Documents\My Music\Soundtrack\The Best Little Whorehouse
In Texas\Various Artists.The Best
This will open the folder containing the song. Then you can narrow down the
file that is playing in that folder.
But the Properties method should work. Maybe there's a hard limit on the
number of characters it is displaying or you are not doing a Select All
properly.
I am using WMP10 here as well. Try the method I recommended - right-click on
the file in the Playing list and click 'Open containing folder'. Otherwise,
out of ideas
thanks so much tom as i did that, but all it gives, is the same as
file>props, the location, & even then, there are spaces between words, as
you see the copy & paste below
thanks & i opened wmp10, started a song & went back to the process page, saw
a wmp, so clicked on it & it opened a properties box but in all the
different windows within, i see no ......wma for the selected song
