I have attempted to upgrade the RAM on my Emachines
T1110, with two identical 256MB Kingston PC133/256
sticks. When booting up, I get the "EMachines" screen,
then a blank screen, then a black and white error screen,
that advises a hardware change or power failure has
occurred, and gives several options: Start Windows
normally, Start in "safe mode", Start with DOS prompt, or
start in "safe mode" with networking. No matter which
option I choose, Windows XP (Home Editions) will not
start, and continually re-directs me back to the error
screen. I can put any 256MB stick in either of the two
avail slots, and everything works normally, but no matter
what I do, with the bios, or anything else, it will not
allow me to enter Windows XP (home edition) with the two
256MB sticks installed. Please help if you can. Thanks-Don
