Hello,
We're building a table and want to paste in an em-dash
into a table. However, it appears on the screen as a pipe
character, like this |

Any suggestions as to how to bring in this em-dash from
Word or Notepad or some other way, would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

No. The characters in a text box are only those included in
the font you assigned to the text box.

It sounds like you're trying to make a table in sheet view
look nice. If so, don't do it, tables are for storing data
not for presenting it. Any formatting should be done in a
form or report.

OK, thanks.
