eliminating duplicate contacts due to sychronization with pocket PC

How do you eliminate duplicate contacts in your contacts folder after you have sychronized with Pocket PC. I should have about 5000 contacts instead I have over 12000 contacts? This is not something to be done manually.

Sperry Software has a product that will do it for sale.

I had a free program that did it for me a couple of years
ago, but couldn't find the source again. Try searching
for duplicate remover.
