Have a CD in my CD drive (don't know what kind of CD).
Won't eject. I have tried to eject by software, eject button on front of
drive, and the small hole in front of drive. No luck.. CD appears stuck.
How do I get the drive bay to open?

Maybe you could try lightly to pry with a small screw driver as you pushed a
straightened paper clip thru the small hole.

You need to use a big thick paper clip, not a thin small paper clip,
when trying to use it in the hole to push out the tray. You are
manually forcing the tray open but the gears are still meshed so you
need to push hard. If the tray doesn't eject when using a big thick
paper clip, I wouldn't try prying open the tray with a screwdriver. The
CD is probably not seated in the tray and is jammed against the tray and
something else, like the case or laser assembly, and forcing the tray
open will damage components in the CD drive or the CD itself.

If the CD is out of the tray and wedged between the tray and other
components, you may not be able to eject the CD until you get the CD
back into the tray. Turn off the computer and remove the CD drive from
the computer. Orient the CD drive so that the CD should fall into the
tray. Some CD drives have a front bezel that simply snaps into the case
or it might have a couple screws on each side. If so, you could remove
the front bezel to see if that gives you access to unjam the CD by
pushing on it with an ear swab or popsicle stick. The harder you push
the more likely you will damage something. If you cannot get the front
bezel removed (without parts flinging away and getting lost), the only
two choices that I can see are to jar the CD into the tray or to open
the CD drive's case (which will void any remaining warranty). To jar
the the CD into the tray, slap it hard a few times on one side and then
test if using a strong paper clip in the hole will force the tray to
open. If not, slap it hard a few times on a different side and try
again to open the tray using the paper clip. If slapping it hard on all
6 sides doesn't get the CD back in the tray, you'll either have to open
its case yourself to see if you can move the jammed CD into the tray or
take it to a shop.

Sounds like the disc isn't sitting how it should. If this is the case,
the easiest thing to do is remove the drive and pop the cover off.
Usually just four small screws, and possibly some clips at the front
of the drive.

Pushing a paperclip through the hole should work if the disc isn't
jamming the drive. It does take a bit of force.

One other thing to try. Turn the PC on and as soon as you can, push
the CD Eject button.
