After a number of Windows security updates including a Jet4 update, I don't know which one is responsible, I started getting runtime errors as I navigate from page to page. Much less often, but often, I get crashes on certain pages, but when I go in a second time, no crashes.

The runtime error is as follows:
--------------------------------------------------------
Error
X

A Runtime Error has occurred
Do you wish to Debug?
Line 1
Error: Undetermined string constant.
----------------------------------------------------------

I download IE6 and had it reinstalled. It didn't help. The very same thing happened on a friend's computer after downloading the same updated.

We both have WindowsXP, his is the Home Edition, and mine is the Pro Edition

Common script errors messages can be eliminated by Clicking:
Menu: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"
