Egg Timer Gadget

I cannot figure out how to get the egg timer gadget to work. I searched the
newsgroups and HELP - no luck. When I pass the mouse over the egg, I get the
little "pop up" the "X" a checkmark and 8 little dots on the bottom. I get
this with all the gadgets. However, with the egg thing, the checkmark is not
white and doesn't allow me to do anything. Also, if I right clock on the
egg, the "settings" option is grayed out.

Do I have a broken eggie thing? - this is no yoke!
 
Hold your cursor over the middle part of the egg.
You should see a white arrow.
Hold down the cursor (white arrow) and move it to the left to set the
minutes.
Do the same with the top section of the egg to set the seconds if needed.

I don't know, now that I know how to use it, what can I say...I'm
pretty JUICED about giving it a try!
 
I tried to keep it going, but I was having a difficult time coffeeing up any
more bad puns.
