Same problem new story...

Encrypted files, formated the Root volume, reinstalled
OS, now I need access to the files. Is there any hope
at all ?

Box was a server, The ROOT server in a domain, it was
actually the ONLY server in the domain as well. Now it
is a stand alone server without Active Directory ( when
files were encrypted it was active directory )

Now,... I know the user account, and the password that
were used to encrypt the files... Does that help at
all???

Any suggestions please email me at (e-mail address removed)

Henington,

You may be ok if you know the original encrypting information. Call
Microsoft PSS for assistance.
