Hi there. I have a bit of a conundrum for you all!
Yesterday I re-installed Windows 2000 on my notebook. I
have two partitions on my hdd; one of which holds my
personal files and data, and the other which is for the OS
and prog files. I have kept the data partition untouched
through several rebuilds with no problems.
I re-intstated my user account with the same username and
password after the install. I then pointed the My
Documents shortcut to a folder on the data drive where all
my docs are located. If it makes any difference I have
also re-named the admin account.
I can no longer access these files and suspect that I may
have encrypted them some time ago and forgotten about
it...darn transparent access!
Is there a workaround for this? Software that can help me?
Thanks for your time.
