Dear Friends:
I have a situation in a win 2000 computer and I hope
that your knowledge will help me solve the problem ,
I use a win 2000 server stand alone computer not connected
to a network nor a domain , only a workgroup , several
users use this PC thats why I encrypted some important
files using EFS , one day the computer crashed and we had
to reinstall a fresh copy of the operating system
win2000 , and now my important files are still there on
the pc but they are encrypted and me myself can't decrypt
the files any more because of the installation a fresh
copy of the operating system , we don't have any backups
of the system state data.
Is there any thing I can do to decrypt the files and use
them again or is it a hopeless case ????I do have
administration privileges.
Your help will be very much appreciated .Thanks a lot.
