efg80 with larger then 120 drives

now i have to buy 2 350 gig drives.. hmm

it took a 250 with no problem.

just answering my own post.
 
I've had this same question for many moons now. Would you mind telling
me what brand / model the 250GB drive was that worked with the EFG80?
Furthermore, did you eventually have success with any drives larger
that that?

After speaking with Linksys, they only indicated that the EFG80 was
only tested to be successful using 120GB drives, and indicated that
drives larger than this may or may not work. The guy actually said,
"about 80% of drives larger than 120GB won't work due to the onboard
chips and firmware used". And so (of course), I don't want to bother
purchasing a couple drives for this purpose, and get stuck trying to
find a system to put them in.

Pleeeeese reply. I've been searching for quite a while to answers to
this question.
