Hi,

I know there's a lot of free mp3 tag editors out there, but I do not have
time to try them all, so I will ask for advice here. I would like an
efficient editor that can deal with a lot of mp3s in an intuitive way. I
mostly have complete albums in separate folders but I need to update the
tags for the individual files. Some sort of "batch" functionality would be
good I guess. The editor shouldn't include players or any other extras. If
you guys could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate
it.

Thank you in advance.

MP3 Tag Studio:

I like the fact that I can do a "mass rename" of an entire folder's
worth of MP3s.

This doesn't look like a freeware...

I know that’s not a freeware. But I wanted to share my impression
with you. As the program (mp3Tag) has so many nice features that are
really worth the money paid.
Do you really mean *that* mp3Tag?
Or do you mean the other Mp3tag... the freeware one that's found at
http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

I mean that very mp3Tag, developed by ManiacTools. It works not only
with mp3s but also with other formats (wma, ape, ogg, mp4, m4a, mpc,
mpp, mp+). And I found it good at working with FreeDB and Amazon
