eExcel workbook went blank

hi,
I created an excel workbook, I was working on a sheet, and highlighted 5
columns and hit the hide botton... the next thing the whole workbook went
blank and data could not be viewed.... I could still open the workbook but it
blank...

could someone pls help

Hi,
try to right click on the mouse on any sheet name and see if you have the
unhide button available, if yes it will open a list of the hidden sheets
 
Another thought ..
You may have accidentally hidden the entire book?
Click Window > UnHide
Is it listed there? (in the "UnHide" dialog)
Select the book > OK
Above any good? hit the YES below
