EEEOP disabled

I'm trying to install a DSL program on my computer but
then it stops midway and says that it cannot configure the
EEEOP. Now I've tried to set up a new connection
manually, through network connection, but then the
selection for broadband with EEEOP is grayed out. How do
I go about fixing this problem? Thanks, Hung.
