"In the past, you have sent us bug reports and feature requests
regarding EditPad Lite 5. We greatly appreciate such feedback as it
helps us improving our products.

I am happy to inform you that we have just released a new version of
EditPad Lite 5. Some of the changes made in this version were made
because of your feedback. Here is the list, straight out of our bug
tracking system:

(Bug) Linux: File names with spaces in them can't be opened from the
command line when using the shell script. Works fine when starting
EditPad directly without the shell script.

For a complete and more polished list of all changes made in this
version, please check the version history on the web site. Thanks
again for your feedback, and if you have any more comments or
questions, don't hesitate to write again.

Kind regards,
Jan Goyvaerts

Chief Designer of EditPad Lite 5"

Regards
Gordon

Yes, it is a great program and thanks for the advice of new version.

But why does the link in ABOUT menu in version 5.2 have a link to:-

http://www.editpadlite.com/

which goes NOT to the LITE version but to the PRO version and then
makes us hunt through that page for the correct link which is:-

http://www.editpadlite.com/editpadlite.html

An inclusion of this link in your post would have been good!!

Wait, Susan, because I downloaded it from this link:
http://download.jgsoft.com/editpad/SetupEditPadLite.exe
in the bottom of the page:
http://www.editpadlite.com/editpadlite.html

Now I've run it to update my EditPadLite from 5.2.0 to this 5.3.0 and it is
still the 5.2.0 !
I've downloaded this "new" Setup yesterday 4th March at 7 p.m. GMT.

I just checked my "new" EditPadLite (downloaded yesterday), and it, too,
was 5.2. I just re-downloaded, and 5.3 is indeed now available.

It seems he has redesigned his site. I'm guessing that he wants traffic to
go through the EditPad Pro part of the site in order to generate more
sales?

It wasn't there the day before (I checked) - nothing *you* could do
about that. *I* should have procrastinated a day longer. ;)

Thanks Gordon <vbg>
