edititemtemplate event

when i click on the update/cancel buttons in the edititemtemplate, the
update and cancel events do not fire. This is on IE 7. However, this
works fine on IE 6.
Is this a known problem and any workarounds?

No. It works fine on all browsers for me.
What's the command-name? It must be "Update" and "Cancel" (with case
matching as is).

Check for any javascript... are you using linkbuttons (__doPostBack)?
