editing video clips

Is it possible in movie maker to lay 2 video clips on top of each other, with
one translucent and the other one not, so they run together at the same time?
 
Try the fadeout transition and adjust the length so they run on top of each
other.
One has to start a little ahead of the other but it "may" give you the
effect you are looking for.
