editing tracked changes

This is another attorney request(the rhd add-in for Word removes everything)

"User wants to be able to save her redline changes so only she can access the history, but so that she can send the current redline changes out. It doesn't sound like she could do that this way. If she can't, she says she'll just use the tracking and hard copy out what she wants to send. So much for eliminating paper! This will have to eventually be sorted out because it's such a potentially big issue for attorneys

As always, Pat, thanks for your great help and insights. Guess we'll wait and see for the time being. If you happen to hear of anything that you think would address this (essentially let you edit your own tracking history?) please let us know.

Any help would be appreciated
Pat

Hi Pat

If your user leaves tracked changes in the document, then anyone can see
the information Word stores about who made the change and when. On the
other hand, if the user accepts (or rejects) all the tracked changes,
then Word forgets all information about the tracked changes, so she
can't then have Word display the redline changes.

Hope this helps.
