Hi,
I have done a bit of macro work with excel (mostly recording what I did then altering it to fit what I needed to automate) but I can't do that with outlook so my expertise is lost.
I have a list of tasks (a couple thousand) each one has a specific task number identifying it. I need to change the format of those numbers. Basically I need to add two 0's to the front of each number. So if i have task that has 8675 in the task ID column I would like to change it to 008675. As you can imagine manually going through 9,000 or so numbers changing them to 009000 numbers or so would be a little annoying. Anyway can I write a macro to do this for me without affecting anything else in each of the tasks??
Many thanks,
Evan
