Editing System Registry - Help! Waaaah!

First off, virus spreaders make me want to re-think my opposition to capital punishment.
Norton Anti-Virus found a virus - Backdoor Imiserv and I've been able to do all the steps until I get to:

Reversing the changes made to the registry.

I have been able to get into the registry editor (by typing "regedit" in the Run menu)

The instructions say to navigate to the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
And then, in the right panel, delete the values:
"Win Server Updt" = "C:\%windir%\wupdt.exe"
"Win Server" = "C:\%windir%\winserve.exe

Problem is, I don't see anything like that in the right panel. I have three columns: Name (with a little AB symbol) Type (all but one are REG_SZ) and Data (bunch of stuff relating to programs, none of which looks familiar.)

ALSO, in a related problem:
I can't get disk cleanup to work and found, in the knowledge base, the exact description of what is happening (hanging whilst scanning compressed files.) Said it was a problem in the (oh, no!) registry. Told me where to navigate in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VolumeCaches\Compressed\OldFiles
And said on the Edit Menu to click Delete.
Do they mean to Delete all the files that show up on the right panel, or delete that FOLDER on the left panel?
I'm scairt to death to do stuff in the registry that can screw me up worse than I already am.

Any solid help appreciated GREATLY. Please copy responses via email. In fact, if you are willing to talk me through it on the phone by calling collect, send me an email and I'll send ya the number.

If you're not sure/confident about editing stuff in the Registry, don't do
it. Making mistakes here can render your computer inoperable. And if you do
want to try it, first make a back-up of the registry.

Backup is already done. I hate doing stuff like this, but I also don't want to have to haul my system over to my gurus to do what should be simple-but-oh-so-carefully done. I'm not confident, no, but I can follow step-by-step IF what I'm seeing is the same as what I'm being told to do.
