If 2003, try File, Send To, Mail Recipient (For Review) Have the recipient make some changes and send the file back. Open the file and if it doesn't automatically appear, choose View, Toolbars and pick the Revisions toolbar. Haven't used the feature myself, so that's about all I can tell you, but it's a start.
