editing at start of film

When i download a movie back onto my camcorder after it has been edited i find that the first 2 seconds or so of the introduction have been missed when they have been recorded back onto the camcorder due to a slight delay.I read on the movie maker site that you edited something at the begining of the movie which avoids this 2 second gap,however i can not remember how to do or find it on the site please help.

you need to insert a blank bmp at the start of the movie.
It can be made in 'Paint'. Check out the Movie Maker help
files for instructions.
