Tom

I just installed outlook 2003 and all my contacts sorted
by an alphabetical order in it's address book. I want to
sort my contacts by categories, such as business,
personal..e.g. creating corresponding folders within the
address book like in outlook express. (I used to have
outlook express, unfortunatelly my computer crashed and I
lost my address book with it).
thank you,

You cannot sort the Outlook Address Book by anything other than name.
Use the Contacts Folder for selecting recipients if you want to do so by
category.
Also, each Contact Folder you create will appear in the Outlook Address Book
if you enable the folders as an email address book in their properties.

Thanks Valentine,
but how do you create Contact Folders within address book?
or enable the folders as an email address book

You create the Folders in Outlook (File > New > Folder...)
Then R click each and enable the "Show this folder as an email address book"
in Properties > Outlook Address Book Tab.
