Hello, I recorded the last round of the Masters last week on my
Windows Media Player (5 hrs)
on "best quality" format. Only to find that in won't fit on a
DVD.........da!!. How can I save this file or
edit it (if possible) so that I can still get it on a DVD? Can this
be done at all?

Maybe a *best clips* compilation DVD
would be an option?

Generally...a 4.7 GB DVD holds 1 hour
of video and a dual layer 8.5 GB DVD
holds 2 hours.

Some authoring software can *fit* a
video onto a disk but even if you were
able to fit 5 hours onto a single DVD
I'm thinking the quality would be quite
poor.

Maybe you need to move up to Blu-ray...
a single layer BD will hold 25 GBs.
They are expensive though.
