Can you do this?

If so, what exactly can you achieve? For instance, can u do things such
as install applications / uninstall applications etc from the image?

Easiest way: Put image on a partition, edit, re-image.

No. That requires the OS in Windows. Unless it is an app that
does not use the (entrierly broken idea of) the registry.

Not really. What capabilities you do have will be dependepent upon the version of GFhost
Explorer and if the image is of NTFS or FAT32.

Thanks for all the help.

What I've got are images for 6 machines. All Dell servers but some are
650s and some 750s.

Unfortunately, one of the users on each of these machines is set up
with the wrong password, so I want to be able to change it and
re-image.

Whats the easiest way?

I was thinking of restoring each image one by one onto a single
machine, making the changes, and then re-imaging. Does it matter that
I'm not restoring to the same machine?

Of course, it would be easier if I could just edit the image
directly....

Yes, it wont necessarily boot if you dont restore it to the correct model.

That isnt worth the farting around.

Forget about it !

The most you can do is delete a file from an image. You can insert files or modug\fy the
Registry of the image.

Please take the time to fully understand what Ghost does and how to use it effectively.
