hi.

I have created a template (.dwt) in frontpage.
I have made editable regions and such.

The problem is, when i make a new page which has the attached template, i
can still change the whole website (add/delete things etc)

I thought the purpose of a template is to have one so you cant change whats
in the .html (with the attached template).
As im making a website for a client, i dont want them to be able to mess
around with the hmtl page.

If anyone has any hints on what im doing wrong, would be greatly
aprecciative :)

You can't write protect HTML documents as they are ascii files and so
can easilly be edited using a notepad!

The purpose of a template is to streamline your development so that you
don't have to waste lot of time doing the same thing again and again.
Its purpose is not to protect your intellectual property rights!

You need to proptect the site itself so that they can't mess around with
the contents of it, or for that matter it doesn't get hijacked by a
hacker and porn pasted all over it!
