This command starts FrontPage and tells it to open the
current Web page.

To use this command, you click it.

Ok when I do that it only shows me that page. With my
other site, different hosting, I could do that then acess
all pages. Why is that?

Also; Is this another way to edit my site? or stick with
live site and or FP disc hard drive site?

Thanks
LisaB

You should have prompted to login when you accessed the page, if the site is
hosted on a server with the FP extensions, if no extensions, then you can
not edit directly on line, so you would have to always work on your local
copy and then publish.

allows you to edit the CURRENT page you're viewing. (bad idea though, stealing
other people's work!).

Ok with my old hosting it always prompted me to log in
then I could access all my pages (I thought that was how
you edited the live site; however I've since learnt). My
new hosting has fp ext however it does not always prompt
me for a log in and I only get one page.

Not sure what the other poster meant by stealing other
peoples work (I guess you can do this on all sites and
copy?) well I'm only interested in my site.

Ok so I think I have it all figured out. Just wasn't sure
if this was also a good way to edit.

Thanks!!!!!!

The permissions on the new host are not set correctly, as you should always
be prompted for login if the account has the FP extensions.
