This is not possible normally (unless this is a new feature in 2003), but
it is not difficult to allow some text to be entered into a text box if
you use VBA (it won't be typed directly into the text box, but after
being typed it will appear in the text box). If you email me, I can send
you a sample PowerPoint presentation that does this. Sometime in the
