Some of the games and utilities are freeware and some are shareware. I have
no reasonable means of collecting shareware fees at the moment so I'm giving
away registration numbers for free (except for PicProg)
The EditHelp program creates Help Files for use with the Windows help
system.
It is a stand-alone program which does NOT require Microsoft Word for
Windows.
Help Files are full hypertext files with links, popup-links, bitmaps,
different fonts and keywords. You can use Help files not just for providing
"help" but wherever hypertext is appropriate, such as, public information
systems and computer-based training.
Windows Help files can execute DLLs and EXEs and can have embedded panes
containing animation or user-editable data.
As you develop your Help File, EditHelp helps you keep track of the status
of each topic.
EditHelp can
a.. create a skeleton help file for an existing program, use the
File|OpenExe command.
b.. create a skeleton help file for a Borland Delphi Component, use the
File|OpenDelphi command. The file will contain the B-Keywords required bye
the Delphi Help Search Engine.
c.. produce HTML files for use on the World Wide Web. You can use the same
source to provide hypertext information in both HLP and HTML formats. (These
pages were produced using EditHelp).
To create bitmaps with multiple hotspots, you will need a Segmented Graphics
File editor such as EdShg or Microsoft's SHED. You may download EdShg:
Download (49k) Freeware
Certain commands are only available if you register EditHelp.

(my personal note: I've emailed this author in the past about some of his
other freeware programs such as KidProof ( he was happy it worked on XP )
and not sure what his definition of shareware is but looks like its just
registerware to me)
