I'm still on Access 2003 and wondering if they finally in 2007 gave us the
ability to do better editing in the query SQL window? It's pretty much the
only place in any program I work in where I have to copy the text out into a
text editor, make changes and then paste it back. Seems strange that this
has always been left out.

Thanks,

Keith

Not yet. There were some scorch marks on the walls of the conference room
after the discussion of this at the last Summit I understand.

Okay. Thanks for the response. Amazing that something so basic has never
been included in such a widely used tool!

For Access's primary audience, end users, it would be a waste of
effort. You're not supposed to use the SQL editor except for
exceptional circumstances (i.e., the things the QBE can't display,
like UNIONs and non-equi joins). I dip into it only occasionally,
and the only things I'd really like to have would be search/replace
and the ability to make change the default font size.
