Edit-Find-Message Not Finding All Matching Messages

I'm using Windows Mail as an IMAP client. I have all of the IMAP folders
fully synchronized with the headers and messages downloaded. When I use the
Edit-Find-Message dialog, it finds only a few or none of the matching
messages when I search by From, To, Subject or Message. Outlook Express could
always find all the IMAP mesages. I think Windows Mail Message Search is
broken.

I have Windows Vista Search Service enabled in case that might be involved.
I even tried creating a new mail account and re-downloading all the IMAP
folder messages, but no luck.

Please report this bug to the Microsoft developers.

I just tried the Search box (upper right corner) instead of
Edit/Find/Message tool. The Search box seems to work a lot better. It quickly
found all the matching messages in the current folder. So Microsoft needs to
fix the Edit/Find/Message tool. It appears to be completely broken.
