Hi all,

Us there a way to give a user the right to only edit some records on the DNS
console.

I tried to give full control to a record on the DNS console, but when he
tries to edit/delete that CNAME record it gives an access denied message. If
that user goes to the AD Users and Computers, he is able to delete that
record.

Can you tell me what right is needed to be able to edit DNS records without
making part of the DNSAdmins?

Thanks

Nuno

Please post the answer here when you find it. I've been asked that question
several times, and I'm still looking for it.

I don't think that's possible, I think you need to be a DNSAdmins to
do this. Though you may be able to script the change without being a
member of the group.
