We have a company wide template for presentations and I would like to use it without some of the graphics, Is it and all or nothing on background graphics

Thank

Depends on your version. If you are using PPT 2002 or 2003, you can create
and use multiple masters within the same presentation file. In those cases,
you could create a separate master from which you have removed the template
items that you don't want.

If you are using one of the earlier versions, you will need to look into one
of the multiple master fake-out processes. Information on that can be found
on this page of Echo's site:
http://www.echosvoice.com/multipletemplates.htm

A word of warning: If the master is all one graphic, instead of multiple
layered graphics, you probably won't be able to change it. If you click on
the master (away from any placeholders), and the whole thing selects, it is
likely to be one graphic. You can try to un-group it, but that will only
work if it is a group, not a single graphic.
