Edit button in a form?

I have a form, with a combo box in it, and when choosing a name, it gives you that person's data.
Is there a way I can change some of the information in those text boxes and then save it?
I don't want it to be a new record in the table, I want the old one to be overwritten.

Do I need text boxes to bi bounded or not?
