Hello,
PowerPoint does not have the ability (through the user interface) to remove
all animations from a presentation.
If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly PowerPoint
should have this kind of feature, don't forget to send your feedback to
Microsoft at:
http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp
As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible. Each submission should be
a single suggestion (not a list of suggestions).
Depending on the version of PowerPoint there are several different
workarounds.
1) If you are using PowerPoint 2000 or earlier and all of your animations
are applied to body text placeholders (from autolayouts), you can use the
"Preset animations" tool in Slide Sorter view to remove all of the
animations from selected slides (Select All to remove from all).
2) If you are using any version of PowerPoint and you don't care if the
animations are removed as long as they are not shown during slide show,
select the "Show without animation" option in the Set up slide show dialog.
3) Otherwise animations would have to be removed manually or
programmatically (e.g. VBA)
