After creating an event in the calendar I save and close, all is good.
Then I need to edit the event, all is good.
After saving the edited event it always changes to a recurring event and the
box is not ticked. I would like to point out this does not happen all of the
time may be 1 in 3. I can reopen and untick and all is good.
How does one stop the unwanted recurring event from happening only a single
event is wanted.
BCM is shared with one other PC and it is a fresh install.
Please help.

How do you create this appoinment?

Is it from Outlook by itself or a BCM-specific form

Please give us exact steps to reproduce behavior.

So far it doesn't sound like a BCM issue.

Hi, Thanks for the reply.

Well the exact steps: Any way you can create an appointment either by
D/clicking on the calendar or from the top menu bar Actions or Ctrl+N and
then saving and closing.

Editing: By D/clicking on the appointment in the Calendar changing the text
and saving and closing this is all done on the main PC.

Editing from the peered PC via Business history also changes the appointment
to a recurring appointment.

Whats most annoying is that it does not do it all the time, 1 in 3 times but
this is not set in stone.

I have made no changes to BCMv2, I noticed this straight after the install.
Install went on without any problems and no issues with the Peered PC
connecting to the DB. Both PC's are Windows Media edition New from Dell with
pre installed SB edition office 2003.

I have also tried detect and repair.
cheers.

Don't know the cause for this, but I'll try to replicate your behavior.
