After install WinXP Pro, I noticed that I spelled my name wrong (you'd think
after all these years I could spell it right?) anyway, the folder which is
on the C: drive under "Documents and Settings" says Orn instead of Ron. I'm
the only user on this PC and I'm the administrator. I can't seem to figure
out how to correct this folders name. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Ron

Right click "My Computer" click on "Manage", in the left
window expand "Loacal Users and Groups", ni the right
window, right click on your name or in this case not your
name, click on "Rename"

Thanks for the help folks, none of the items suggested changed the folder
name. I took the radical approach and deleted the account and the folder,
created a new administrator account with the correct spelling and now I have
a new folder with the correct spelling.

Just rename your user ID to 'orn' (my computer, manage, local users, &
groups, users, ron, right click-rename), then create a new one called
'Ron', and then logon as 'administrator' (or some user who isn't orn or
ron) and copy the profile from 'orn' to 'ron' (my computer, properties,
advanced, user profiles, settings, copy).

This is actually the easiest way of changing the folder name without
trashing things, and if you screw up you'll still have the old profile
there (until you delete it).
