Hello people!

I have a client who wants to be able to edit the general
properties of a contact from within Outlook (name, title,
phone, etc), and then have those changes "saved" to the
associated user account in AD. When you hit properties of
a contact in Outlook you can not make changes becasue
everything is grayed-out (even if logged on as domain
admin.)

Any ideas?

Thanks to anyone who can provide an answer or even any
possible suggestions to look into.

Rory,

I think that there is something called GALModify. AFAIK,
it is located in the Exchange Resource Kit. IIRC, each
user can change attributes for his/her account only.

Please note that it has been about one year since I have
used this, though...

HTH,

Cary
