Just put a system together and now when I boot, it doesn't give me the post
beep.

I tried it without the hard drive, floppy, and cdrw connected and it beeped.
As soon as i hooked up the other stuff, no beeps.

Anyone have any ideas??? It's a christmas gift, so I have to get it running
by Monday to ship out.

Thanks

Hook "the other stuff" up one at a time. It's possible that one of
"the other stuff" is bad. That and double check everything else
(e.g. jumper settings for everything).

I've got this motherboard (so do two others at work). It appears to
be a very stable motherboard.

Not sure what type of memory that your are using or how many sticks,
but if you are using 133 SDRAM, try it with only a single stick. Don't
remember if there were any issues with DDR memory.

Also, that board is quite picky regarding power supplies. I have had
several cheapo supplies that would not allow me to post. I put a 435W
Enermax in place of the cheapo PS and everything worked great.

Search for 'ECS motherboard forums' on Goggle. You will find lots of
info regarding non posting with the K7S5A & Pro.

Good Luck

Check the Clear CMOS jumper isn't set to Clear. AFAIK they shipped with
it set. Whilst set you won't be able to fire up the computer.
