EasyCD6 and Windows XP

I am trying to find out if other people are having problems in XP with
the new Roxio EasyCD 6.

Problems like Xp's own Cd recording functions not working sometimes,
Roxio's Copier function, freezeups while burning

I have had issues with Roxio EasyCD 6 with Win XP. I have
talked to customer service people and they can't seem to
find a fix for it. Try downloading the updates from
Roxio, they came out with one on November 18, 2003 -
maybe that'll help.

As for CD burning through Windows XP, I have not
experienced any problems with it.

You would think after version 5, that Version would have to be better,
but it seems it too is full of bugs given the many updates already
since it was first released
 
I use Easy Cd Creator Platinum 6, upgraded to 6.2.0.110. That seems to work
fine with XP home and SP-1. I have never tried to use XP's intrinsic
CD-writing function. But, I can write data CDs, bootable CDs, music CDs,
DVDs, and UDF format (aka, drag to disk). I can also copy CDs of several
formats.

I do aknowledge that the initial relase of verison 6 was, well, less than
perfect. But, the latest seems to work well.

Be sure to upgrade the "engine" first, then the other functions like
"creator" and "drag-to-disk".
