Is there an easy, no hassle way to send Outlook 2003 items to 2000? I've
tried sending them as invitations, as attachments, and zipping them up and
emailing them and nothing works--they all end up as plain text files. Brian
Tillmand and Russ Valentine says that the only way to do it is it create a
97/2000 PST folder (see 9/30 posting), copy the items to that folder and
then take it home on a disk.
Reason I need these calendar items is that I'm a freelancer and am working
offsite at a client's place for 3 months. I need to be able to put all my
work history into my calendar for tax reasons/benefits (Last year I was in
the hospital for 2 months and applied for disability. I was told I needed a
record of the hours I worked so IRS could estimate how much I would have
earned if I hadn't been in hospital)
Brian and Russ both said it was the only way, but is there a third-party way
to do this? My solution is to use my Palm Pilot, but the company is wary of
installing non-approved software--it's been a hassle trying to get them to
do this for me.
