Easy silly question??

Hi,
All I want to do is copy an icon from the desktop to my
bar at the bottom of the screen and make it a shortcut.
How do I do this? Thanks...

I'm sure there is a easier way but from the Windows
explorer the path is C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%
\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
 
Leon:

Right Click and drag and drop icon on the bar on bottom (called Quick Launch)
choose "Copy Here" or "Create Shortcuts Here"

If I understand you correctly, just right click on the icon on the
desktop, drag it to the taskbar and select "Create Shortcut Here".
