I d/l and installed Easy Office http://www.e-press.com/downloads/index.html
which has a free and a paid version. The free version has some good features
but of course they are limited, however each time I use any of the freeware
versions I have to go through the same b/s (do you want to buy?). Any way
around this?

Yeah, well, so does OpenOffice.org and a host of others. Suite 602 has
no database component or PowerPoint application.

Easy Office is pretty slick. I've run it for a while (until I did
OpenOffice.org which I think, is a little better). I liked EasyOffice's
completeness. Also technical support for EasyOffice by email was fast,
courteous, and free. Paying $40 for the whole thing is not a bad
investment.

I found that EasyOffice does not save to MSOffice format as
successfully as OpenOffice. If you don't need to share files
with MSOffice users, then either program is a good choice.
