I lost my Easy CD Creator when I used my recovery cd. Is
there a place on the internet that will allow me to
download it without having to purchase it?
 
Duh? I believe that is called "Software Piracy" unless you have legitimately
purchased it and just lost the CD, then you can contact Roxio to obtain a
replacement CD.
 
What do you think would happen if everytime we couldn't get hold of an
application we just downloaded it from the internet?

I'll tell you:

1. The program makers would make no money and therefore be unable to make
updated versions of the software and therefore amplify any bugs in the
program.

2. The companies would have no money to provide support, leaving the
hundreds of thousands of end-users with no company support if problems
arise.

3. The bankruptcy of software companies would in turn lose software company
employees (of which there are millions) their jobs.
