Easy CD Creator 6

When I installed Vista, I got no warning that "there are compatability issues
with Easy CD Creator". Once instaled, it will not work (version 6).

Anyone know if it is just me or a universal issue?
 
I don't use it, but have you tried running it in compatibility mode to see
if it will then work? Right click the applications executable > click
Properties > go to the Compatibility (tab) check the box that says "Run this
program in compatibility mode for:"

click in the list box and select an appropriate version of Windows that runs
the software without problems.
 
None of the Roxio (Easy CD Creator Suites) or Ahead (Nero Suites) work in
Vista. I tried several version of both same results, compatability issues.
Maybe those programs will work when the finale release of Windows Vista OS
comes out.
 
9 is supposed to work.

For now I'm using, with success, Nero 6.6.1.4 - Vista does display the
warning - but after that everything is fine. I recorded some CD-R and
DVD-R's with it, using internal dla USB2 recorders.

I had to try it because Explorer allowed me to format CD-R disc as 'live
filesystem' only - I couldn't make any ISO like recording.

Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5 works on my system, RC1 as an upgrade from
XP Pro. Roxio was installed after the upgrade. The only component in
the suite that wouldn't install was Sonic's BackupMyPC. Of the
installed Apps only CinePlayer won't run. The packet writing software,
Drag-to-Disc works fine as does DVD burning
