I'm trying to install files to view Japanese programs/websites. When I go
Control panel/regional options/add languages/languages

I check" install east asian languages" I get the box that lets me know it
takes 230MB to install. I click ok, then apply and it asks me to install "XP
home edition service pack 2 cd". I have my original XP home edition cd, but
it's not SP2. I downloaded it through windows update.

How can I do to be able to view Japanese programs/websites?

Thanks for the help!!

Did you insert the CD and if you did what you got?.
Also you need to add the language on your Browser (IE).
Also you can Slipstream the SP2 on the XP CD you have now.
