EARTHQUAKE 3D Version 2.1 - Dec 2002

This README.TXT file is from the Earthquake 3D archive zip file.
After unzipping, the following two files should be present:

EQuake3D.exe ----- The program
Readme.txt ----- This file

Earthquake3D ( Equake3D.exe) is a simple executable program.
No installation is necessary. You can place it anywhere on your
hard disk -- it doesn't matter where. Just "Run" it
(or double-click on it) to make it go.

To remove Earthquake3D from your system, simply delete the
executable Equake3D.exe.

It looks like the first screenshot and is not just a screensaver.

hmmmm...

"Although EARTHQUAKE 3D is free, an enhanced version is also
available. The enhanced edition is the latest version of this program
and it contains features that are not found in the 'older' free
version."

yum. crippleware.

Hi;

Well I was in for a few surprises!

Got the free version and installed it.
Simply AMAZING what this "crippleware" can do.

From the WEB all the latest quakes: magnitudes, locations from different
servers.
Numerous options: ultra-zooming; views: surfaces, continents, countries,
rivers, waters.
Stop and Go for rotation.
Updates its data "now" or at differents selectable intervals.

Really impressed.

Thank you. It's nice someone tries it before they bitch about it. He
probably voted on programs he knew nothing about also.

Thanks. I think it was a program recommended from a US government
website.
I had another program that was public domain software, which I can't
find right now, that does the same thing as HDDTrack but with more
options. It had this fantastic 3-D interface that would grow larger as
it burrowed deeper into a website.
I went into the CIA FactBook for a couple of layers until I got
paranoid and decided that I really didn't want them coming over to see
me. :)
