Are there any early versions of Acdsee which are now freeware?
I am thinking of versions like 2.43.

Susan, thanks for the link.
When I try to run the downloaded executable to install Acdsee 2.2
into XP I get a message saying I can not run 16 bit programs.
Setting compatability modes via the EXE's properties do not help.
Any idea what I need to do?

I will state I have not used this BUT it looks very crippled.
JMHO.
Maybe you should try a program before you comment on it. :-\
I have/am using it. It isn't crippled and is the closest thing to
ACDSee that's free.

Wrong. Firegraphic 6 is freeware. Firegraphic 6 Pro is $ ware.=============================
It is not free. After 30 days you must register it just like all shareware.
