What does Epson's E_SRUN03.exe do?
Firewall keeps saying it's asking for a two way network connection,
allow or block.
It's in C:\Windows\prefetch and twice in
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\spool\drivers\w32x86
and
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3
I've had several Epson printers, not sure which one created it.
I don't have E_SRUN03.exe on my computer. I've got 3 Epson drivers:
SP900, SP1280, C86. I can only say it's not involved with those 3 printer
drivers.
I do, however, have several exe's beginning with "E_S" and those are all
related to the Status Monitor 3.
What does the property sheet say for E_SRUN03.exe? If no property sheet,
have you opened the file with a plain text editor to see if there's any
text strings in it that could give a clue?
(There's also
www.analogx.com . Remember that guy? Used to appear on
TechTV with Leo LaPorte and Patrick? His "TextScan" will automatically
identify text strings within a binary file. I use it a lot instead of
notepad for this kind of thing.)

Have you tried installing some of the "process viewers" available for free
on the net? I use them sometimes to make discoveries. They're especially
helpful to find which *.dll's are called up by which *.exe's.
