Win98se, IE5.5sp2

Has anyone experienced OS hanging on shutdown after mounting a volume
from Encryption for the Masses (E4M) v2.02a, whether or not the volume
is subsequently unmounted?

Thx

I have also the same problem and I'm looking for a replacement for E4M.

E4M has problems when used on a 98 OS. Scramdisk is much, much better for
98.
Scramdisk v3.01r3c (latest version!) for Windows 95/98/ME, can be downloaded
from:

E4M was meant for Win 2000. However, there is currently a team that is
working on updating E4M so that it will work on Win XP (and hopefully Win 98
(SE and +). Keep a watch on the newsgroup:
"alt.security.scramdisk"
for that release to be announced when ready for prime-time. E4M has many
bugs that hopefully the team will conquer soon. some have already been
solved.
